After bestowing on Bettina the rank of Honorary Écuyer, the Cadre Noir gained the benefit of Bettina’s expertise when she spent a day teaching riders with the Cadre Noir. Below are photos from her day of teaching at Saumur.

Colonel Patrick Teisserence, Écuyer en Chef of the Cadre Noir, also took advantage of Bettina’s day of coaching by getting her input as he rode Simply Pretty. It was a coaching session that moved from the serious French conversation of piaffer to the glad American celebration of success!
